महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-26, verse-5

तपोर्थीयं ब्राह्मणी धत्त गर्भं गौर्वोढारं धावितारं तुरंगी ।
शूद्रा दासं पशुपालं तु वैश्या वधार्थीयं त्वद्विधा राजपुत्री ॥५॥
5. taporthīyaṁ brāhmaṇī dhatta garbhaṁ; gaurvoḍhāraṁ dhāvitāraṁ turaṁgī ,
śūdrā dāsaṁ paśupālaṁ tu vaiśyā; vadhārthīyaṁ tvadvidhā rājaputrī.

5. A brahmin woman bears a child for the purpose of spiritual discipline (tapas); a cow bears one who will carry burdens; a mare bears a swift runner; a śūdra woman bears a servant; and a vaiśya woman bears a cattle-herder. But a princess like you bears one destined for destruction.
