वासुदेव उवाच ।
उत्तिष्ठोत्तिष्ठ गान्धारि मा च शोके मनः कृथाः ।
तवैव ह्यपराधेन कुरवो निधनं गताः ॥१॥

Vāsudeva (Krishna) said: "Arise, arise, Gāndhārī! Do not dwell on sorrow. For indeed, it is solely due to your own transgression that the Kurus met their demise."
