महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-70, verse-7

ततः पञ्चाशतं कन्याः पुत्रिका अभिसंदधे ।
प्रजापतिः प्रजा दक्षः सिसृक्षुर्जनमेजय ॥७॥
7. tataḥ pañcāśataṁ kanyāḥ putrikā abhisaṁdadhe ,
prajāpatiḥ prajā dakṣaḥ sisṛkṣurjanamejaya.
