महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-70, verse-15

पञ्चाशतं मनोः पुत्रास्तथैवान्येऽभवन्क्षितौ ।
अन्योन्यभेदात्ते सर्वे विनेशुरिति नः श्रुतम् ॥१५॥
15. pañcāśataṁ manoḥ putrāstathaivānye'bhavankṣitau ,
anyonyabhedātte sarve vineśuriti naḥ śrutam.
15. pañcāśatam manoḥ putrāḥ tathā eva anye abhavan kṣitau
anyonya bhedāt te sarve vineśuḥ iti naḥ śrutam
15. There were fifty sons of Manu, and others besides, born on earth. However, due to mutual discord, all of them perished; thus, it has been heard by us.
