महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-70, verse-46

ततः स नृपशार्दूलः पूरुं राज्येऽभिषिच्य च ।
कालेन महता पश्चात्कालधर्ममुपेयिवान् ॥४६॥
46. tataḥ sa nṛpaśārdūlaḥ pūruṁ rājye'bhiṣicya ca ,
kālena mahatā paścātkāladharmamupeyivān.
46. tataḥ saḥ nṛpaśārdūlaḥ pūrum rājye abhiṣicya
ca kālena mahatā paścāt kāladharmam upeyivān
46. Then, that best of kings (Yayāti), after consecrating Puru to the kingship, later, after a long time, attained the law of time (i.e., died).
