महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-26, verse-26

ततस्तस्य गिरेः शृङ्गमास्थाय स खगोत्तमः ।
भक्षयामास गरुडस्तावुभौ गजकच्छपौ ॥२६॥
26. tatastasya gireḥ śṛṅgamāsthāya sa khagottamaḥ ,
bhakṣayāmāsa garuḍastāvubhau gajakacchapau.

26. Then, having ascended the peak of that mountain, Garuda, the best of birds, consumed both the elephant and the tortoise.
