महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-26, verse-13

प्रजाहितार्थमारम्भो गरुडस्य तपोधनाः ।
चिकीर्षति महत्कर्म तदनुज्ञातुमर्हथ ॥१३॥
13. prajāhitārthamārambho garuḍasya tapodhanāḥ ,
cikīrṣati mahatkarma tadanujñātumarhatha.

13. O ascetics, whose wealth is penance! This undertaking of Garuḍa is for the welfare of creatures. He intends to accomplish a great feat. Therefore, you should grant him permission.
