महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-119, verse-36

सुप्तं चापि पुनः सर्पैस्तीक्ष्णदंष्ट्रैर्महाविषैः ।
कुपितैर्दंशयामास सर्वेष्वेवाङ्गमर्मसु ॥३६॥
36. suptaṁ cāpi punaḥ sarpaistīkṣṇadaṁṣṭrairmahāviṣaiḥ ,
kupitairdaṁśayāmāsa sarveṣvevāṅgamarmasu.
36. suptam ca api punaḥ sarpaiḥ tīkṣṇadaṃṣṭraiḥ mahāviṣaiḥ
kupitaiḥ daṃśayāmāsa sarveṣu eva aṅgamarmasu
36. And again, while he was sleeping, he was made to be bitten by enraged, sharp-fanged, highly venomous snakes on all the vital parts of his body.
