महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-119, verse-34

ततो बद्ध्वा लतापाशैर्भीमं दुर्योधनः शनैः ।
गम्भीरं भीमवेगं च स्थलाज्जलमपातयत् ॥३४॥
34. tato baddhvā latāpāśairbhīmaṁ duryodhanaḥ śanaiḥ ,
gambhīraṁ bhīmavegaṁ ca sthalājjalamapātayat.
34. tataḥ baddhvā latāpāśaiḥ bhīmam duryodhanaḥ śanaiḥ
gambhīram bhīmavegam ca sthalāt jalam apātayat
34. Then Duryodhana slowly bound Bhīma with creeper-ropes and threw him, who was profoundly (unconscious) and terribly swift (in descent), from the high ground into the water.
