This very [conceptualization or ego (ahaṅkāra)] which is subject to bondage and liberation (mokṣa) disappears when observed. Indeed, as soon as the ego (ahaṅkāra), becoming baseless, is completely pacified through mere observation, then (what remains to be bound or liberated?).
