योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-59, verse-27

चित्तमेव चितिस्पन्दस्तदबोधो हि संसृतिः ।
अबोधमात्रे चित्स्पन्दः कटकत्वमिवोत्थितम् ॥ २७ ॥
cittameva citispandastadabodho hi saṃsṛtiḥ ,
abodhamātre citspandaḥ kaṭakatvamivotthitam 27
27. cittam eva citispandaḥ tat abodhaḥ hi saṃsṛtiḥ

27. The mind (citta) itself is the vibration of consciousness (citi); indeed, its non-realization is the cycle of transmigration (saṃsāra). In mere ignorance, the vibration of consciousness (cit) arises, just like the quality of "bangle-ness" (kaṭakatvam) appeared from gold.
