By the calming of the vibration of consciousness (cit-spanda), which is the cessation of mental construction (bhāvanā), this cycle of rebirth (saṃsāra) completely subsides. This also occurs when the great consciousness (mahācit) is subdued, and the two objects (artha) along with the states of being parts (aṃśa-bhāva) cease to manifest.
