योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-32, verse-38

सुचिराभ्यस्तभावं तु वासनाखचितं मनः ।
यत्र तत्र भ्रमत्स्वर्गनरकादि प्रपश्यति ॥ ३८ ॥
sucirābhyastabhāvaṃ tu vāsanākhacitaṃ manaḥ ,
yatra tatra bhramatsvarganarakādi prapaśyati 38
38. su-cirā-abhyasta-bhāvam tu vāsanā-khacitam manaḥ
yatra tatra bhramat svarga-naraka-ādi prapaśyati
38. tu su-cirā-abhyasta-bhāvam vāsanā-khacitam manaḥ
yatra tatra bhramat svarga-naraka-ādi prapaśyati
38. Indeed, the mind, having long cultivated a certain state and being permeated by latent impressions, wanders here and there, perceiving heavens, hells, and other such realms.
