तत्सत्तया हि स्फुरति नभःसंप्रेरिताश्मवत् ॥ ५ ॥

When the mind (citta) and other faculties are inactive or non-existent, the body remains inert like a wall. Indeed, by the existence of that (mind), it vibrates and functions, just like a stone propelled by the sky (wind).
