योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-46, verse-30

अथ सर्वे वयं दीर्घकालं श्वपचदूषिताः ।
प्रायश्चित्तैर्न शुद्ध्यामः प्रविशामो हुताशनम् ॥ ३० ॥
atha sarve vayaṃ dīrghakālaṃ śvapacadūṣitāḥ ,
prāyaścittairna śuddhyāmaḥ praviśāmo hutāśanam 30

prāyaścittaiḥ na śuddhyāmaḥ praviśāmaḥ hutāśanam

prāyaścittaiḥ na śuddhyāmaḥ hutāśanam praviśāmaḥ
30. Now, all of us, having been defiled by dog-eaters for a long time, cannot be purified by any penance. Therefore, we shall enter the fire.
