योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-43, verse-44

गवाश्वमहिषेभोष्ट्रश्वशृगालेडकैरहो ।
घोरै रणमिवारब्धं मार्गरोधकमाकुलैः ॥ ४४ ॥
gavāśvamahiṣebhoṣṭraśvaśṛgāleḍakairaho ,
ghorai raṇamivārabdhaṃ mārgarodhakamākulaiḥ 44
44. gavāśvamahiṣebhoṣṭraśvaśṛgāleḍakaiḥ aho ghoraiḥ
raṇam iva ārabdham mārgarodhakaiḥ ākulaiḥ
44. aho ākulaiḥ ghoraiḥ mārgarodhakaiḥ

44. Alas, it was as if a battle had begun, with dreadful, agitated animals—cows, horses, buffaloes, elephants, camels, dogs, jackals, and sheep—obstructing the path.
