अथ वातायनाद्देव्यौ मन्त्री राजा विदूरथः ।
ददृशुः प्रोल्लसन्नादं महानिशि महापुरम् ॥ १४ ॥

atha vātāyanāddevyau mantrī rājā vidūrathaḥ ,
dadṛśuḥ prollasannādaṃ mahāniśi mahāpuram 14

14. atha vātāyanāt devyau mantrī rājā vidūrathaḥ
dadṛśuḥ prollasannādam mahāniśi mahāpuram

14. atha devyau mantrī rājā vidūrathaḥ vātāyanāt
mahāniśi prollasannādam mahāpuram dadṛśuḥ

14. Then, from the window, the two queens, the minister, and King Vidūratha saw the great city in the deep night, filled with a resounding noise.
