योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-104, verse-19

जिह्मतां यो न जानाति न दृष्टा येन धृष्णुता ।
उदारता येन धृता ब्रह्मणेवाक्षमालिका ॥ १९ ॥
jihmatāṃ yo na jānāti na dṛṣṭā yena dhṛṣṇutā ,
udāratā yena dhṛtā brahmaṇevākṣamālikā 19
19. jihmatām yaḥ na jānāti na dṛṣṭā yena dhṛṣṇutā
udāratā yena dhṛtā brahmaṇā iva akṣamālikā
19. yaḥ jihmatām na jānāti,
yena dhṛṣṇutā na dṛṣṭā.
yena udāratā brahmaṇā iva akṣamālikā dhṛtā.
19. He who does not know crookedness, and by whom impudence has never been witnessed. By him, generosity (udāratā) is upheld like a rosary (akṣamālikā) by Brahmā.
