चितेर्जीवस्वभावाया यदचेत्योन्मुखं वपुः ।
चिन्मात्रं विमलं शान्तं तद्रूपं परमात्मनः ॥ ४१ ॥

41. The essence of consciousness (citi), whose intrinsic nature (jīvasvabhāvā) is that of the individual soul, and which is directed towards the unperceivable, is pure consciousness (cinmātra), immaculate, and tranquil. That is the true form of the Supreme Self (paramātman).
