ततः पपात मेदिन्यां स तु मूर्च्छापरिप्लुतः ।
हा प्रियेति वदन् सोऽथ चिन्तयामास भामिनीम् ॥३९॥

Then, overcome by unconsciousness (mūrchā), he fell to the ground (medinī). Saying, "Ah, beloved!" he then pondered about the beautiful woman (bhāminī).
