मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-24, verse-32

जड उवाच ।
प्रणिपत्य भुजङ्गेशं पुत्रः शत्रुजितस्ततः ।
प्रत्युवाच महात्मानं प्रेमलज्जासमन्वितः ॥३२॥

praṇipatya bhujaṅgeśaṃ putraḥ śatrujitastataḥ .
pratyuvāca mahātmānaṃ premalajjāsamanvitaḥ.

tataḥ pratyuvāca mahātmānam premalajjāsamānvitaḥ
32. Jaḍa said: Then, the son of Śatrujit, filled with love and shyness, bowed down to the lord of serpents and replied to the great soul (mahātman).
