praṇipatya bhujaṅgeśaṃ putraḥ śatrujitastataḥ .
pratyuvāca mahātmānaṃ premalajjāsamanvitaḥ.

Jaḍa said: Then, the son of Śatrujit, filled with love and shyness, bowed down to the lord of serpents and replied to the great soul (mahātman).
