इत्येवं प्रसृतं वाक्यमुक्तः पन्नगसत्तमः ।
प्राह राजसुतं प्रीत्या पुत्रयोरुपकारिणम् ॥१४॥

14. jaḍa uvāca .
ityevaṃ prasṛtaṃ vākyamuktaḥ pannagasattamaḥ .
prāha rājasutaṃ prītyā putrayorupakāriṇam.

Jaḍa said: Addressed by such an extensive speech, the best of serpents affectionately spoke to the king's son, who had been a benefactor to his two sons.
