मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-24, verse-6

ताते वर्षसहस्राणि शासतीमां वसुन्धराम् ।
तथैव त्वयि पातालं न मे याञ्चोन्मुकं मनः ॥६॥
6. tāte varṣasahasrāṇi śāsatīmāṃ vasundharām .
tathaiva tvayi pātālaṃ na me yāñconmukaṃ manaḥ.
6. tāte varṣasahasrāṇi śāsatīm imām vasundharām |
tathā eva tvayi pātālam na me yāñcā unmukam manaḥ
6. O father, though you have ruled this earth for thousands of years, and likewise (though) you (now govern) the netherworld, my mind is not inclined to beg.
