ताते वर्षसहस्राणि शासतीमां वसुन्धराम् ।
तथैव त्वयि पातालं न मे याञ्चोन्मुकं मनः ॥६॥

6. tāte varṣasahasrāṇi śāsatīmāṃ vasundharām .
tathaiva tvayi pātālaṃ na me yāñconmukaṃ manaḥ.

O father, though you have ruled this earth for thousands of years, and likewise (though) you (now govern) the netherworld, my mind is not inclined to beg.
