ये तु बाल्यात् प्रभृत्येव विना पित्रा कुटुम्बिनः ।
ते सुखास्वादविभ्रंशान्मन्ये धात्रैव वञ्चिताः ॥११॥

11. ye tu bālyāt prabhṛtyeva vinā pitrā kuṭumbinaḥ .

But those who, from childhood onwards, have to support a family without a father, I believe they are deprived of the enjoyment of happiness and are truly cheated by fate (dhātṛ).
