मायेयं पुत्र मा स्प्राक्षीः प्रागेव कथितं तव ।
अन्तर्धानमुपैत्याशु माया संस्पर्शनादिभिः ॥३८॥

38. aśvatara uvāca .
māyeyaṃ putra mā sprākṣīḥ prāgeva kathitaṃ tava .
antardhānamupaityāśu māyā saṃsparśanādibhiḥ.

Aśvatara spoke: "Son, do not touch this; it is an illusion (māyā). It was already explained to you earlier that illusion (māyā) quickly vanishes by touching and similar actions."
