मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-107, verse-32

लब्ध्वा वरं स नृपतिः समभ्येत्यात्मनः पुरम् ।
चकार मुदितो राज्यं प्रजा धर्मेण पालयन् ॥३२॥
32. labdhvā varaṃ sa nṛpatiḥ samabhyetyātmanaḥ puram .
cakāra mudito rājyaṃ prajā dharmeṇa pālayan.

32. Having obtained the boon, that king, delighted, returned to his own city and ruled his kingdom, protecting his subjects with righteousness (dharma).
