मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-107, verse-15

पुत्रान्पौत्रान्प्रपौत्रांश्च तथान्यानिष्टबान्धवान् ।
पश्यतो मे मृतान्दुःखं किमल्पं हि भविष्यति ॥१५॥
15. putrānpautrānprapautrāṃśca tathānyāniṣṭabāndhavān .
paśyato me mṛtānduḥkhaṃ kimalpaṃ hi bhaviṣyati.
15. putrān pautrān prapautrān ca tathā anyān iṣṭabāndhavān
paśyataḥ me mṛtān duḥkhaṃ kim alpaṃ hi bhaviṣyati
15. When I see my sons, grandsons, great-grandsons, and other dear relatives dead, what sorrow could possibly be considered insignificant for me? Indeed, my grief will be immense.
