मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-107, verse-13

राजोवाच ।
कथमभ्युदयो भद्रे किं सभाजयसे च माम् ।
प्राप्तो दुःखसहस्राणां किं सभाजनमिष्यते ॥१३॥
13. rājovāca .
kathamabhyudayo bhadre kiṃ sabhājayase ca mām .
prāpto duḥkhasahasrāṇāṃ kiṃ sabhājanamiṣyate.
13. rājā uvāca katham abhyudayaḥ bhadre kim sabhājāyase
ca mām prāptaḥ duḥkhasahasrāṇām kim sabhājanam iṣyate
13. The King said: 'O good lady, how is this prosperity? Why do you honor and congratulate me? For one who has attained thousands of sorrows, what kind of felicitation is desired?'
