मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्युक्ता सा तदा तेन तथेत्याह नराधिपम् ।
जगाम तेन च समं साऽपि तं धरणीधरम् ॥२७॥

27. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ityuktā sā tadā tena tathetyāha narādhipam .
jagāma tena ca samaṃ sā'pi taṃ dharaṇīdharam.

Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca iti uktā sā tadā tena tathā iti āha

Mārkaṇḍeya said: When he spoke to her thus, she then said to the king, "So be it." And she too went with him to that mountain.
