मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-107, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततः प्रसन्नो भगवान्भानुराहाखिलाञ्जनान् ।
व्रियतां यदभिप्रेतं मत्तः प्राप्तुं द्विजादयः ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tataḥ prasanno bhagavānbhānurāhākhilāñjanān .
vriyatāṃ yadabhipretaṃ mattaḥ prāptuṃ dvijādayaḥ.
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tataḥ prasannaḥ bhagavān bhānuḥ āha akhilān
janān vriyatām yat abhipretam mattaḥ prāptum dvijādayaḥ
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, the pleased Lord Bhānu (the Sun god) spoke to all the people, "O Brahmins and others, choose whatever you desire to obtain from me."
