महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-21, verse-23

अथान्यं रथमास्थाय धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिरः ।
शकुनिं नवभिर्विद्ध्वा पुनर्विव्याध पञ्चभिः ।
ननाद च महानादं प्रवरः सर्वधन्विनाम् ॥२३॥
23. athānyaṁ rathamāsthāya dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ,
śakuniṁ navabhirviddhvā punarvivyādha pañcabhiḥ ,
nanāda ca mahānādaṁ pravaraḥ sarvadhanvinām.

yudhiṣṭhiraḥ śakunim navabhiḥ viddhvā
punar vivyādha pañcabhiḥ nanāda

pañcabhiḥ vivyādha ca mahānādam nanāda
23. Then, mounting another chariot, Yudhishthira, the king of righteousness (dharma) and foremost among all archers, first pierced Shakuni with nine arrows, and then again struck him with five, letting out a mighty roar.
