तस्य बाणसहस्रैस्तु प्रच्छन्ना ह्यभवन्मही ।
परांश्च सिषिचे बाणैर्धाराभिरिव पर्वतान् ॥२॥

parāṁśca siṣice bāṇairdhārābhiriva parvatān.

2. Indeed, the earth became covered by his thousands of arrows. And he showered the enemies with arrows, just as clouds shower mountains with torrents.
