महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-6, verse-46

तव पुत्रैर्वृतः कर्णः शुशुभे तत्र भारत ।
देवैरिव यथा स्कन्दः संग्रामे तारकामये ॥४६॥
46. tava putrairvṛtaḥ karṇaḥ śuśubhe tatra bhārata ,
devairiva yathā skandaḥ saṁgrāme tārakāmaye.

46. O Bhārata (Dhṛtarāṣṭra), Karna, surrounded by your sons, shone there just like Skanda, accompanied by the gods, in the war against Tārakā (tārakāmaya).
