महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-6, verse-34

सेनापतिर्भविष्यामि तवाहं नात्र संशयः ।
स्थिरो भव महाराज जितान्विद्धि च पाण्डवान् ॥३४॥
34. senāpatirbhaviṣyāmi tavāhaṁ nātra saṁśayaḥ ,
sthiro bhava mahārāja jitānviddhi ca pāṇḍavān.
34. senāpatiḥ bhaviṣyāmi tava aham na atra saṃśayaḥ
sthiraḥ bhava mahārāja jitān viddhi ca pāṇḍavān
34. aham tava senāpatiḥ bhaviṣyāmi; atra saṃśayaḥ na.
he mahārāja,
sthiraḥ bhava ca pāṇḍavān jitān viddhi
34. I shall be your commander-in-chief; there is no doubt about this. O great king, be firm, and know the Pandavas to be vanquished.
