महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-38, verse-25

अथास्य सशरं चापं पुनश्चिच्छेद मारिष ।
सारथिं च शरेणास्य भृशं मर्मण्यताडयत् ॥२५॥

25. athāsya saśaraṁ cāpaṁ punaściccheda māriṣa ,
sārathiṁ ca śareṇāsya bhṛśaṁ marmaṇyatāḍayat.

25. atha asya saśaram cāpam punas ciccheda māriṣa
sārathim ca śareṇa asya bhṛśam marmaṇi atāḍayat

25. māriṣa atha asya saśaram cāpam punaḥ ciccheda
ca asya sārathim śareṇa bhṛśam marmaṇi atāḍayat

25. Then, O revered one, he (Suketu) again cut his (Gautama's) arrow-bearing bow. And with an arrow, he fiercely struck his (Gautama's) charioteer in a vital spot.
