महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-34, verse-40

स भीमसेनाभिहतो सूतपुत्रः कुरूद्वह ।
निषसाद रथोपस्थे विसंज्ञः पृतनापतिः ॥४०॥
40. sa bhīmasenābhihato sūtaputraḥ kurūdvaha ,
niṣasāda rathopasthe visaṁjñaḥ pṛtanāpatiḥ.
40. sa bhīmasena-abhihataḥ sūta-putraḥ kuru-udvaha
niṣasāda ratha-upasthe visañjñaḥ pṛtanā-patiḥ
40. kuru-udvaha! bhīmasena-abhihataḥ visañjñaḥ pṛtanā-patiḥ sa sūta-putraḥ ratha-upasthe niṣasāda.
40. O upholder of the Kurus (Dhritarashtra), that son of the charioteer (Karna), struck by Bhima, became unconscious and slumped onto the seat of the chariot, he, the commander of the army.
