तस्य कर्णो धनुर्मध्ये द्विधा चिच्छेद पत्रिणा ।

33. Karṇa, with an arrow, cut his (Arjuna's) bow in the middle into two pieces. Then, he (Karṇa) struck that bow-less warrior between the breasts with a very sharp iron arrow, capable of piercing all armor.
