महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-34, verse-25

यस्ते कामोऽभिलषितश्चिरात्प्रभृति हृद्गतः ।
स वै संपत्स्यते कर्ण सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते ॥२५॥

25. yaste kāmo'bhilaṣitaścirātprabhṛti hṛdgataḥ ,
sa vai saṁpatsyate karṇa satyametadbravīmi te.

saḥ vai saṃpatsyate karṇa satyam etat bravīmi te

25. O Karna, that long-cherished desire (kāma) of yours, which has resided in your heart for a long time, will certainly be fulfilled. I tell you this truthfully.
