महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-34, verse-26

एवमुक्ते ततः कर्णः शल्यं पुनरभाषत ।
हन्ताहमर्जुनं संख्ये मां वा हन्ता धनंजयः ।
युद्धे मनः समाधाय याहि याहीत्यचोदयत् ॥२६॥
26. evamukte tataḥ karṇaḥ śalyaṁ punarabhāṣata ,
hantāhamarjunaṁ saṁkhye māṁ vā hantā dhanaṁjayaḥ ,
yuddhe manaḥ samādhāya yāhi yāhītyacodayat.
26. evam ukte tataḥ karṇaḥ śalyam punaḥ
abhāṣata hantā aham arjunam saṅkhye
mām vā hantā dhanañjayaḥ yuddhe
manaḥ samādhāya yāhi yāhi iti acodayat

26. Upon hearing this, Karna then spoke to Shalya again: "Either I will kill Arjuna in battle, or Dhananjaya will kill me. Fix your mind on the fight and proceed, proceed!" Thus he urged him.
