महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-34, verse-34

सोऽन्यत्कार्मुकमादाय सूतपुत्रं वृकोदरः ।
राजन्मर्मसु मर्मज्ञो विद्ध्वा सुनिशितैः शरैः ।
ननाद बलवन्नादं कम्पयन्निव रोदसी ॥३४॥
34. so'nyatkārmukamādāya sūtaputraṁ vṛkodaraḥ ,
rājanmarmasu marmajño viddhvā suniśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
nanāda balavannādaṁ kampayanniva rodasī.

vṛkodaraḥ rājan marmasu marmajñaḥ

34. O King, Bhīma (Vṛkodara), skilled in striking vital spots, took another bow. Having pierced Karṇa, the son of Sūta, in his vital spots with very sharp arrows, he let out a powerful roar, as if making the heavens and earth tremble.
