महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-76, verse-28

बाहुभ्यामिव संतीर्णौ सिन्धुषष्ठाः समुद्रगाः ।
तपान्ते सरितः पूर्णा महाग्राहसमाकुलाः ॥२८॥
28. bāhubhyāmiva saṁtīrṇau sindhuṣaṣṭhāḥ samudragāḥ ,
tapānte saritaḥ pūrṇā mahāgrāhasamākulāḥ.

28. (tau) bāhubhyām iva saṃtīrṇau,
(yathā) tapānte mahāgrāhasamākulāḥ pūrṇāḥ samudragāḥ sindhuṣaṣṭhāḥ saritaḥ (tīryante)
28. They had crossed (the formidable battle), as if with their (mighty) arms, like full rivers at the end of summer that flow to the ocean and are teeming with great crocodiles.
