महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-16, verse-45

हते तु पुरुषव्याघ्रे रणे सत्यजिति प्रभो ।
सर्वैरपि समेतैर्वा न स्थातव्यं कथंचन ॥४५॥
45. hate tu puruṣavyāghre raṇe satyajiti prabho ,
sarvairapi sametairvā na sthātavyaṁ kathaṁcana.

sarvaiḥ api sametaiḥ vā na sthātavyam kathaṃcana
45. prabho tu raṇe puruṣavyāghre satyajiti hate

45. But, O lord, if that tiger among men, Satyajit, is slain in battle, then it should by no means be endured by all of us combined.
