महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-51, verse-11

लक्ष्मणोऽपि ततस्तस्य धनुश्चिच्छेद पत्रिणा ।
मुष्टिदेशे महाराज तत उच्चुक्रुशुर्जनाः ॥११॥
11. lakṣmaṇo'pi tatastasya dhanuściccheda patriṇā ,
muṣṭideśe mahārāja tata uccukruśurjanāḥ.
11. lakṣmaṇaḥ api tatas tasya dhanus ciccheda
patriṇā muṣṭideśe mahārāja tatas uccukruśuḥ janāḥ
11. mahārāja lakṣmaṇaḥ api tatas tasya dhanus
muṣṭideśe patriṇā ciccheda tatas janāḥ uccukruśuḥ
11. Then Lakṣmaṇa, too, with an arrow, cut off his (Abhimanyu's) bow at the hilt, O great King. After that, the people cried out.
