महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-59, verse-41

ततः प्रहस्य बीभत्सुः पृथुधारेण कार्मुकम् ।
न्यकृन्तद्गार्ध्रपत्रेण भीष्मस्यामिततेजसः ॥४१॥
41. tataḥ prahasya bībhatsuḥ pṛthudhāreṇa kārmukam ,
nyakṛntadgārdhrapatreṇa bhīṣmasyāmitatejasaḥ.

41. Then Bībhatsu (Arjuna), laughing aloud, cut down the bow (kārmukam) of the immensely energetic Bhishma with a broad-headed, vulture-feathered arrow.
