महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-59, verse-25

निमेषान्तरमात्रेण भीष्मोऽन्यत्कार्मुकं रणे ।
समादाय महाबाहुः सज्यं चक्रे महाबलः ।
शरांश्च सुबहून्क्रुद्धो मुमोचाशु धनंजये ॥२५॥
25. nimeṣāntaramātreṇa bhīṣmo'nyatkārmukaṁ raṇe ,
samādāya mahābāhuḥ sajyaṁ cakre mahābalaḥ ,
śarāṁśca subahūnkruddho mumocāśu dhanaṁjaye.

kārmukam raṇe samādāya mahābāhuḥ
sajyam cakre mahābalaḥ śarān ca subahūn
kruddhaḥ mumoca āśu dhanaṃjaye
25. In just a moment, the mighty-armed and very powerful Bhishma, taking another bow on the battlefield, strung it. Then, enraged, he swiftly released many arrows at Dhananjaya (Arjuna).
