मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
मारीचस्त्वथ संभ्रान्तो दृष्ट्वा रावणमागतम् ।

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Mārīca, upon seeing Rāvaṇa arrive, was bewildered. Yet, he honored him with respectful offerings, such as fruits and roots.
