महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-149, verse-36

शुश्रूषा तु द्विजातीनां शूद्राणां धर्म उच्यते ।
भैक्षहोमव्रतैर्हीनास्तथैव गुरुवासिनाम् ॥३६॥
36. śuśrūṣā tu dvijātīnāṁ śūdrāṇāṁ dharma ucyate ,
bhaikṣahomavratairhīnāstathaiva guruvāsinām.

36. Service (śuśrūṣā) to the twice-born (dvijāti) is indeed declared to be the constitution (dharma) for Śūdras.
