महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-17, chapter-1, verse-41

ततोऽग्निर्भरतश्रेष्ठ तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ।
ययुश्च पाण्डवा वीरास्ततस्ते दक्षिणामुखाः ॥४१॥
41. tato'gnirbharataśreṣṭha tatraivāntaradhīyata ,
yayuśca pāṇḍavā vīrāstataste dakṣiṇāmukhāḥ.
41. tataḥ agniḥ bharata-śreṣṭha tatra eva antaradhīyata
yayuḥ ca pāṇḍavāḥ vīrāḥ tataḥ te dakṣiṇā-mukhāḥ
41. bharata-śreṣṭha tataḥ agniḥ tatra eva antaradhīyata
ca tataḥ te vīrāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ dakṣiṇā-mukhāḥ yayuḥ
41. O best of Bhāratas, then Agni (the fire god) disappeared right there. And then, those heroic Pāṇḍavas went, facing south.
