महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-17, chapter-1, verse-33

अग्निं ते ददृशुस्तत्र स्थितं शैलमिवाग्रतः ।
मार्गमावृत्य तिष्ठन्तं साक्षात्पुरुषविग्रहम् ॥३३॥
33. agniṁ te dadṛśustatra sthitaṁ śailamivāgrataḥ ,
mārgamāvṛtya tiṣṭhantaṁ sākṣātpuruṣavigraham.

mārgam āvṛtya tiṣṭhantaṃ sākṣāt puruṣavigraham

33. There, they beheld Agni (the fire god) standing before them like a mountain, blocking the path, manifest directly in the form of a person (puruṣa).
