महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-17, chapter-1, verse-37

अयं वः फल्गुनो भ्राता गाण्डीवं परमायुधम् ।
परित्यज्य वनं यातु नानेनार्थोऽस्ति कश्चन ॥३७॥
37. ayaṁ vaḥ phalguno bhrātā gāṇḍīvaṁ paramāyudham ,
parityajya vanaṁ yātu nānenārtho'sti kaścana.

parityajya vanam yātu na anena arthaḥ asti kaścana

37. Let this Arjuna, your brother, go to the forest, abandoning his supreme weapon, the Gaṇḍīva bow. There is no longer any purpose for him with this (weapon).
